The Annual Quilt Expo - Fun!

I went to the Georgia Sewing and Quilt Expo on Friday.  I look forward to these every year.  It's a short and easy drive for me, to the Arena where it's held.  And there aren't many "easy drives" in this part of Georgia.  It's usually nice weather by March in Atlanta, and Friday was a beauty... Sunshine and long sleeve shirt weather.   The parking lot was almost full.. and that parking lot is HUGE.  Inside, it was a full house.

Some familiar booths were absent ... and I wondered what had happened to them.   There wasn't much fabric offered.... and that's what I was looking for... something different.  I did buy some fat quarters and some zippers.   That's the extent of my purchases.  Some of the fat quarters are so cute, I can't wait to turn them into something.

The booths with their art work in view ... everything interested me.  The ideas, the colors, the quilts hung for display..... makes a person want to do it all.   If you're a crafter, it's all fun.

I walked around for a couple of hours,  and then had that long walk to the car.  Came home tired, but it was worth the trip.
